Pastor Cory Batiste is a great Community Advocate, Psalmist, Intercessor, Pastor and Evangelist who has shared the good news across the world. Pastor Cory's messages are relevant, relatable, life altering, and uplifting.
Pastor Batiste was born in Wallace, Louisiana. He obtained his Bachelor's of Science degree from Grambling University in Grambling, La. He also holds a Master's degree in Physiology from La Tech University in Ruston, La. In addition to the above mentioned degrees Pastor Batiste is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Divinity and Theological Studies from the United Theological Seminary.

Pastor Batiste accepted the call to ministry at the age of twelve and was ordained later in his teenage years by his uncle, Rev. Eurin Holland Jr. Pastor Cory's paternal and maternal grandparents played a pivotal role in his walk with God. His grandmother Mother Margaret Holland taught him the importance and the power of prayer and worship. During this time Pastor Batiste learned that consistent fellowship with God was of
an essence.
Later as time progressed Pastor Batiste knew his life's purpose was to serve God's people with a greater intensity. After college Pastor Batiste felt the tugging of the Holy Spirit to advance the Kingdom even further. God blessed him to sit under the tutelage of Rev. Earnest Howard, Apostle Robert and Prophetess Gloria Easter at Upon the Rock church in Ruston, La. Pastor Cory Batiste was a part of the Mentorship Program and this included formal training in: Spiritual Warfare, Church Doctrine, Worship and its purpose in the Kingdom, and the History of the church.
Pastor Batiste's work experience includes: 10 years with JP Morgan Chase, he served as District Executive Director for the Boy Scouts of America for 10 years. He later moved on to pursue his love for education and began working within the Claiborne Parish School District for a number of years. He is currently employed with St. John Parish School District as a Science Teacher.
Pastor Batiste's true passion is seeing others being led into their life's purpose by way of the Holy Spirit. It is Pastor Batiste's belief that we all need the Lord no matter what your ethnicity, social status, or educational background. He sincerely stands strong to declare "It's not by might nor by power, but by the spirit saith the Lord. " Zechariah 4:6
Pastor Batiste received the seal of approval from God to move forward into Pastoralship, on October 2017 he was chosen to Lead as Senior Pastor of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Reserve, La. He was officially installed as Pastor January 2018. Pastor Batiste's motto is; " "Our doors swing on open hinges." He feels that we should open our hearts and doors to the lost, broken, and wounded and by doing so we are honoring the life of Jesus.
